Model United Nations

where's the UN going to?

I’ve always wondered how it feels to join a Model UN club since high school. But nor my school and my university has it. My school had English Debate and Public Speaking (this one in Bahasa) class, but no Model UN, even in my town. I just knew that Parahyangan Catholic University in Bandung had this recently. Before, I only knew Global Jaya School’s. Long after that curious years, it only grab my attention these few days when Global Model United Nations is going to be held next week in Geneva, Switzerland. Last month, Asia-Pacific Model United Nations Conference was held in Queensland, Australia and I missed the chance to register for it. Nevertheless, it is a surprise to me that Indonesia had already have a UN Association chapter, World Federation of UNA held the Global Model UN as a model for other Model UN. Another prominent Model UN is the one from Harvard University. Recently some selected students from University of Indonesia, ITB, and Parahyangan represent Indonesia on Harvard MUN.
